nowadays, the original nianshu alley has become part of the surrounding modern residence buildings. outside the buildings of both sides, the house signs of nianshu alley survive. the alley embraces a sense of harmony, gentleness and serenity. also, in memory of wang, on zhenming road nearby, a sculpture of wang with his young pupils was established.
